IGBTs

An IGBT - or InteGrated Bipolar Transistor - is a combination of bipolar and MOS technologies, creating a product that is suitable for numerous applications in power electronics such as UPS, SMPS, Drives, etc.

IGBTs have evolved from the very unstable components of the late 1980s to being one of the preferred power switches of today.
